Michael Schenker Discografia
Michael Schenker (10 de enero de 1955) Guitarrista de hard rock y heavy metal. Formó parte de UFO y fue
miembro fundador de Scorpions. Es hermano de Rudolf Schenker famoso por Scorpions.
Schenker se unió a UFO en circustancias extrañas. La banda deja el Reino Unido para tocar en Alemania.
El guitarrista en ese momento, Bernie Marsden, quien olvida el pasaporte y no puede tocar en el primer
concierto. En el mismo lugar, Michael hacía una prueba de sonido con Scorpions y lo invitan a tocar junto
a ellos esa noche. A pesar de los problemas con el idioma, él no hablaba inglés ni ellos alemán, Schenker
es fichado y aporta otro nivel musical a la banda.
Schenker es uno de los mejores guitarristas de los años 1970 y ha influido en músicos posteriores como
Kirk Hammett de Metallica.
A Michael se le ofrecen trabajos con Aerosmith y Ozzy Osbourne pero los rechaza y busca crear su propio
grupo. En 1979, funda Michael Schenker Group (M.S.G).
Michael vuelve a unirse a UFO para el álbum Walk on Water. Tras una pequeña gira y debido a las peleas
entre Michael y el cantante Phil Mogg concluye la reunión.
Michael resucita Michael Schenker Group, graba con nuevos músicos y anualmente hace giras por Europa y
Estados Unidos....
